Vastu Tips For Property Buyers

A Vastu perfect home is the blend of five main elements of the nature - water, air, earth, space and fire. While you are home hunting make sure the property you select does not have lots of sharp edges. Construct or choose a flat or apartments having entrances in North, East or North-East. The master bedroom should always be located in the south west part of the house. The guestroom should be made in north-west direction of the house. Dining Hall should be placed in the west corner. Dining table should not touch the wall. The center of your house space should be kept empty or have open space. Since it is difficult to leave center space open lobby, drawing room or dining hall should be constructed there. Main Gate should be bigger than the other internal doors. Avoid main entrance gate in south west direction. Square and rectangle shape bedrooms are perfect for ensuring peace and prosperity. Put a pendulum wall clock near the study table. It increases concentration and helps to focus better. Heaters, Conventional Ovens, Micro wave ovens should be placed in south-east or south side of the kitchen, never in north-east portion.

Avoid a property which has a door facing south west. It is important that a Bhoomi pooja is performed before the beginning of construction on a property. When the digging is happening to lay the foundation, make sure that you start from the east. There should be no water body in front of any entrance door of the house. Ideal structural positions for your home are:

  • Kitchen - South East
  • Stair Case - South West
  • Temple - North East
  • Master bedroom - South West
  • Guest room - North West
  • Living room - North West

For Office/Work Spaces - An aquarium with 9 goldfish and 1 blackfish is recommended in the north-east direction for office interiors. The center of your office space or work space should be kept empty. The middle level management should have their offices located in the northern and the eastern zones and the field staffs should have them in the north western part of the office.
